面对第四次工业革命的兴起和我国科技创新进入跟跑、并跑、领跑“三跑并存”的新阶段,以问题为导向加强多学科交叉的集成创新,进而实现重大原始创新策源和“卡脖子”问题破解,成为研究型大学的重要使命。受制于传统“院系—学科”架构下的学科组织割据,以及学科群和校内跨学科中心两种组织方式的局限,国内研究型大学在学科间大跨度交叉与综合集成发展上仍然滞后。当前,国家实验室被置于国家科技创新体系的领头羊位置,将成为推动学科交叉综合与集成创新的有效载体,而研究型大学是国家实验室的重要依托。把握重大政策机遇,国内研究型大学理应以国家战略需求为导向,在新的物理空间中构建以“学域”为基础的交叉学科枢纽,兼顾“板块”的稳定设置与“学域”的动态发展,充分发挥跨“学域”基层学术组织的“磁极效应”,最终形成实施大跨度学科交叉、塑造国家战略科技力量的新格局。
In face of the rise of the fourth industrial revolution and China’s scientific and technological innovation coming into a new stage of "following, paralleling, and leading" , it has become an important mission for China’s research-intensive universities to strengthen the integrated innovation of multi-disciplines from a problem-oriented approach, so as to achieve major original innovation and break through our "bottlenecks" . Due to the division of disciplines under the traditional "faculty-discipline" structure as well as the limitations of both discipline groups and interdisciplinary centers within the university, research-intensive universities in China still lag behind in the development of large-span crossover and comprehensive integration of disciplines. At present, national laboratories are placed at the forefront of the national innovation system, as an effective carrier to promote comprehensive intersections of disciplines and integrated innovation, while research-intensive universities provide national laboratories with important backing. Grasping major policy opportunities, Chinese research-intensive universities should, guided by national strategic needs, build interdisciplinary hubs based on "academic fields" in the new physical space, balancing between the stable setting of "hub’s plates" and the dynamic development of "academic fields" , giving full play to the "polar effect" of the grass-roots academic organizations across the "academic fields" , and ultimately forming a new pattern of promoting large-span interdisciplinary intersections and building national strategic scientific and technological power.
